Who we are
Glocon Training and Research (P) Ltd is a start-up. Glocon was envisioned and is spearheaded by Dr Sheeba Thomas with the aspiration to create a global space of learning that would empower individuals to excel and be meaningful contributors to humanity. In pursuit of this vision, Glocon conducts programs that enhance employability and leadership skills of graduate and post graduate students who will be looking for employment opportunities in due course of time. Our focus is not just to make such students placement ready but empower them to develop from a holistic perspective. Likewise, we provide Campus to Corporate programs for recent college graduates who’ve taken their initial steps into the work arena.
We also conduct programs for individuals in position of leadership influence such as faculty members and managers to equip them with skills to lead and inspire a new generation. Through this, we hope to enable them to actively engage themselves in the development of employability skills and competency development of students and recent college hires respectively.

Dr Sheeba Thomas
Founding Director of Glocon Training and Research Center Private Limited. She has a PhD in Services Marketing from Bangalore University. As a part of her PhD, Dr Sheeba Thomas made a paper presentation on the Service Quality in Banks: A comparative study International Conference at Harvard University.
In the past, she has worked as the Dean - Academic Affairs heading the Study Abroad Program, the Corporate Education and Training at the International Center for Management and India Studies (ICMIS). She brings with her over twenty years of Progressive teaching experience in Education, Accounting, Research Management, and Marketing. She is a visiting faculty for Business Management courses at Bangalore University, Mount Carmel Institute of Management Studies, CMR Institute of Management Studies, NMKRV Center for Post Graduate education and Research Guide at St Joseph’s College of Commerce-MIB (Master of International Business).
Professionally an Educational Consultant and Trainer at various Organizations and Institutions in India. She has developed curriculum and extended input to the curriculum of value based education to students in India and for credit courses in American Universities.
She serves as an honorary advisory member and resource person of an NGO- Urban India Ministries where training is conducted for families, faculty and students where training is conducted for families, faculty and students.
She believes in bringing in value addition to the team through objectivity and creativity.
Ms Shalini Neelakantan
Shalini has worked extensively with the Learning and Development Function of corporates.
She has trained for Columbia Asia Hospitals (Bengaluru, Mysuru and Patiala), Wipro, Infosys, Oracle, Reuters, UBS, JP Morgan as an external facilitator. Her main themes of program facilitation have been Client Expectations Management, Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Supervisory Skills Management, Team Building and Campus to Corporate Programs.
She has also worked in-house with Genisys Software and SLK Software. In addition to the above she has also conducted an Indian Culture training for clients in Romania and Netherlands.
She has completed the International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited ACSTH program and is currently pursuing her ACC certification.
Shalini enjoys interacting with people as much as she enjoys learning and facilitating learning.
