Beginning to make it happen..

Last Saturday, Glocon had their second Facilitator Orientation Program. With a major program headed our way and only 1 facilitator empaneled with us, we were may be just about a little concerned (to say the least!) as to how we would cater to the need of multiple batches going through our program simultaneously. As much as we desire to pay our facilitators well, we are a start-up and what we could afford wasn’t the greatest. Advertising was ruled out. Glocon had the passion and needed people with the same passion. Somehow, a print or an online ad can’t quite communicate intrinsic passion, can it? We also knew that we needed to know the people we empaneled before we empaneled them with us. We were starting off. We needed to get it right from the start. And the only way you can get it right is when you have the right people with the right heart. In a matter of 3-4 weeks we had 15 facilitators empaneled with us (5-6 of them who have full time jobs!). Fifteen individuals who did not make money a priority when saying yes to us. Fifteen individuals who chose to give willingly of their time for the development of students. While each of us are at different points in our facilitation journey we are together on the point of our passion – enabling and empowering our youngsters to be employable.

So here’s to the generation that faces dynamism at its core ~ may their lives dwell on wise decisions!!
